Datup switcher for Panzer General 2

General

This program is used to switch dossier, flags and start screen for datup of Panzer General 2 for equipment files. It can switch any datup. It can be used too for launch, copy equipment files from folder for each type of equipment, run in quiet or minimized mode.

Installation

Download zip file installation
You must install program in you Panzer General 2 folder.
After install, launch program named "DatupSwitcherForPG2.exe".

Graphics interface

In green rectangle, this is the part of datup file. Click on "Select" button to choose the file ( in most case is named "Panzer2.dat" ). After you have select the datup file, the pathname is displayed on left.
In red rectangle, this is the part of equipment files. First use combo box to select equipment you want to use. Then click on "Switch" button to switch files. The "Files" button is to use to open folder can contain equipment files to copy or others. See 'Equipment files management' to more information.
In blue rectangle, this is the part of "launch program" to be used after switch. Click on "Select" button to choose the file to execute after switch (the panzer general 2 program is a good choice :)). After you have select the executable, the pathname is displayed on left. So when you have "Autorun program" to check, the program have you choose is automaticly launch after a switch.
In yellow rectangle, this is the part of options. See 'Options'

Options

"Run as minimized" is used to launch datup switcher program in tray bar of windows, use right click to display equipement files you want to use, or double click to maximize window.
"Autorun program" is used to launch a program you have selected (blue rectangle).
"Auto switch" is used to automaticly switch for equipment file when you have select a equipment with combo box (red rectangle)
"Auto copy EFILE" is used to automaticly copy equipment files if you have copy them into right directory. See this section below.

Equipment files management

This program can be copy automaticly equipments files ( or others ) for you. To use this option you must check "Auto copy EFILE" and you must copy equipment files into right directory. To make that, just select equipement file in combo box and click on "Files" button ( all in red rectangle) to open a explorer. So you have directory explorer opened. Just copy new/updated equipment files inside. After you can close explorer window. After that, if you have check the "Auto copy EFILE" option, when you switch equipment, the files are automaticly copied to be used for play.
Warning: All files/directories (in recursive mode) are be copied without confirmation. So you can have sub directories for copy too.

Use in quiet mode

To use in quiet mode, type command "DatupSwitcherForPG2 /?" to display the index you must use for efile and help.
Example :
DatupSwitcherForPG2.exe /e=21 panzer2.dat
DatupSwitcherForPG2.exe /e=1 C:\myPG2\MyModifiedpanzer2.dat
